As you know, for a hair color to be "permanent" it must PENETRATE into the hair's
cortex where the formula lifts natural melanin as it deposits its own color molecules
into the hair, where they increase in size and stay "stuck" inside the hair.
When you choose a "Non-AMMONIA" permanent hair color, PLEASE remember that
this product is no less alkaline than color that contains ammonia. Non-Ammonia does
not mean non-alkaline. A minimum Ph level of 9.3 is required so that a hair color
product can both lift and deposit into the hair.
Your professional decision is key. Right now, hair color is expensive.. so before investing
new dollars, add only those products you believe make the best financial.. and artistic.
