EMERGENCY SWITCH: Wella Color Touch and Wella Color Charm Demi-Permanent Brands

... IN A PINCH... my famous Hollywood-New York -based hair "buddy" who also happens to be one of mly very best friends, shared this tidbit with me:

During a late-night appointment with a celebrity, he found himself reaching for

Wella Color Touch... and it was not there! Emergency! ... A consumer beauty store

happened to be open... (You know how it is in L.A. and in NYC.).. almost everything

is open all the time. The store stocked Wella Color Charm Demi-Permanent shades.. With

a bit of hesitation, he used it.. bit his nails until he rinsed out the color.. and was THRILLED! The results were 99.9 percent identtical. Everyone was happy. That store sold the Color

Charm Demi for $5.90 per tube. .

Recently, I found myself in a similar situation, and located a Sally's Store which was open. I bought what I estimated to be

the closest shades to Color Touch.. Used them on my client. and all was WELL!

The Color Charm Demi Palette consists of 21 shades. As I do not need black, dark purple-violet or almost never 3N in a demi, I have used most of their blonde, brunette and red shades, along with clear. The brand offers a 10 volume dedicated developer. I'm thinking

that in a pinch, you might be able to purchase this at any beauty store. My friends, Lew,

Jill and Jackie at United Beauty Supply in New Jersey, stock every shade and ship it out

is yours. I continue to love Color Touch and many other brands. And, I look forward

to trying the new Color Touch PLUS... yep! A Super Gray coverage group of Color Touch shades. .... Again, I will say, that I guess I'm lucky..out of all the problems I've had and continue having, I have never really had trouble covering gray hair.
