INVISIBLE -- But It's THERE

When using permanent hair color. The final color you obtain is formed from the interaction between:

1. The color formula's dyes and lifting ability

2. The hair's CONTRIBUTING PIGMENT.

Think of this a a battle! The contributing pigment defends what it provides the hair until an

alkaline color formula (the atacking soldiers) are in contact with the hair.

This battle goes on for about one hour. And, what remains is what you see as the final

color result:

When we lighten black or dark brown hair, a red brown contributing pigment is created

When we lighten medium brown or lightest brown hair, an oragne-red contributing pigment is created

When we lighten blonde hair, a gold or yellow contributing pigment is created.

When we lighten white (gray) hair, a pales yellow contributing pigment is created.

Share this with new colorists working with you. They will appreciate your help. B
