A BIT ABOUT SURFACTANTS

Surfactants are detergents. Naturally-obtained surfactants have been in use for about 2800 years, when various civilizations began making soaps. Surfactants help make water "wetter", by reducing water's surface tension. This helps cleansing agents penetrate into water more effectively.

Surfactant's help cleansers create foam.. thereby "lifting" and removing environmental

pollutants and cellular debris from the scalp.

"Surfactant" is the short term used to define a SURFACE ACTIVE AGENT. Today's modern,

laboratory-created surfactants are manufactured in a sophisticated manner, and are extremely gentle. Again, they help create the foam that assists a shampoo to effectively cleanse. Remember always that a healthy scalp must be in contact with oxygen...

The hair follicle,

which opens at the scalp, cannot produce healthy hair unless the scalp is CLEAN. While

a dry shampoo can make the hair lengths appear and feel "clean". these products DO NOT

REPLACE the traditional methods of shampooing the hair.. and cleansing the scalp!
