Blonde Icon: Carolyn Bissette Kennedy

Today! Huge interest on line about her pastel blonde! This has ignited many questions about how to accomplish this glam result!

Before we get started, let’s note that this is NOT an ‘easy care, low maintenance shade unless the wearer is naturally very light blonde. And getting this look requires proper conditioning and a flawless, smooth blow out. — keep in mind that the ‘movie star’ blondes on screen years ago, were wet set, tortured every two weeks with retouches, and lacquered into place ..often wearing wigs or hair pieces!!

Modern Blonding is most often created via highlighting the hair, with little or no need to lighten the hair globally. Of course, as clients observe blonde glamour, it’s up to us to satisfy them…. Just make certain that pricing, salon appointments, upkeep and hair care are in place before you create these colorful creations. My next post here and on my Facebook group page details the method I use to create this ‘all out there’ pastel color result. Comment here to share your thoughts! Beth Minardi
