As you know the ANAGEN phase of hair growth, within the follicle, is the first, most ‘Active’ living part of hair generation. We’ve learned that this phase, preceding the catagen and telogen phases, can last between 2 -6 years. So, the longer this phase remains active, the longer the hair can grow— and remain in contact with the scalp — before becoming dormant and falling out.
It is only during the anagen phase that the new fiber is nourished by the blood stream. So, proper nutrition, and encouragement of good blood circulation to the head are important.
Gentle circulatory stimulation via scalp massage, aerobic exercise and careful brushing with a 100 percent boar bristle brush… all make a positive impact on the health of the scalp. Healthy scalp - healthy hair!
