How To create a Warm Golden Hair Color Shade

When you need a WG shade, but your salon does not stock one, here’s what to do:
Mix 3 parts of a Golden Shade with 1 part of a copper shade which is 1 to 2 levels lighter than the golden shade you are using. This ratio works so well every single time! WG shades are extremely predictable, can soften a ‘too bright’ orange result, and can add lovely, controlled warmth when added to a cool or neutral color formula.
Best tip ever! They are challenging to find. I love “jewelry golds”
