Learning about K-18 Biomemetic Hair Conditioners

I've read that Dr. Arturo Cavaco at the Center of Biological Engineering, was one of the key creators of the K-18 hair conditioning treatment.

He and the research team found that what resides deep inside the hair --with horizontally and vertically placed disulfonic and other bonds.... is what binds (strengthens)keratin fiber.

Chiefly noted: Most of even the finest conditioners chiefly condition the outside (cuticle) of the hair fiber.

The K-18 team worked to create this new treatment. It BINDS the behavior of the

keratin fiber. It's said to change hair shape with keratin peptides and interactions within human hair keratins.

Several of my salon colorist friends share that K-18 is extremely helpful as they

dedicate themselves to maintaining hair condition as they lighten and color and highlight
