NEW BEGINNINGS - HAIR COLOR for a New GENERATION

About ten years ago, two brilliant women, Meagan Scarlett and Liora Dudar began taking

steps to reinvent hair color. And they did!

Their best option was to create a delicious creme color which is vegan, cruelty free, made without ammonia or peroxide, and which contained shea butter, coconut and avocado. I think of things this way". MOST hair lengths are porous. So a very fine quality semi permanent color WILL "hold on" through many, many shampoos.

OVERTONE. is serious stuff.. Not a quick "in and out" product to be used in the shower. A very, very top quality, LONG LASTING semi-permanent creamy color MASK, available in a multitude of ranges.. both traditional shades as well as others that are brilliant, bold and "fashion bright"

They are directed to be applied to virgin hair, to previously colored hair or to previously lightened (bleached) hair. WEAR GLOVES when using. Apply to dry hair for up to fifteen minutes. (I like to wash my hair FIRST, Dry it to "almost dry .. then apply the color.

OVERTONE, as a semipermanent alternative, does not lighten the hair.. it matches or

deepens and deposits exquisite conditioning and TONE. It very effectively covers those

first gray hairs as well. The brand performs well on both straight and curlier textures.

Salon professionals can contact OVERTONE directly. This brand went to"retail" and

is sold on the OVERTONE website. I tested and demonstrated its use at many of my IMMERSION INTO COLOR learning sessions. The shades are intermixable I LOVE using

them for lowlightinging rich, wonderful tone into the hair. There is a "daily" refreshing color conditioner clients can take home to refresh color on a regular basis.

Part of what we can consider is to reach out beyond the "traditional".. While there is no need to embrace everything.... it's good to know new options available to the world. Come learn with me. To schedule a class: bethminardi@gmail.com.
