The Red Zone

Red, red orange and orange gold tone in the hair are most visible when the hair depth is at levels 4, 6, 7, and 7. At those levels phaeomelinin, the orange pigment in most brunette hair is most visible.


High lift permanent blonde hair color shades cannot eliminate Phaeomelanin from the hair… To achieve removal of Phaeomelanin, cbleach ( hair lightener), which contains ammonium persulfate, must be applied to the hair….


Most bleaches remain active in the hair for 2 hours. But most of the lifting action takes place during the first hour.
