TUTORIAL: GEL Demi Color: SHINEFINITY

For our AllAccess members, I'm sharing what I have learned both from Wella, but even

more from testing and using SHINEFINITY by Wella on my clients. I am certain

most of our members are using a liquid, sheer demi permanent brand, and that you love

using them. In that case... WONDERFUL! My own enthusiasm is something you might

wish to know of.. but in no way recommends that you drop what you are using, and

start all over again.

SHINEFINITY is NEW. It has much in common with the demi liquids we use now. BUT

there are some differences: Rather than being a liquid, it is a gel, housed in an easy to

open 2 ounce pink tube. SHINEFINITY works very much like the current demi liquids now

in use. However: It contains NO AMMONIA, NO PPD, NO PARABENS, and NO ALCOHOL. Great option for those clients who may be sensitive or for salon pros who are

concerned about ingredients.

Shinefinity has its own 5 volume developer. One developer allows the formula to flow from a bottle. The other 5 volume developer allows the formula to become like a loose gel pudding..

which is great when painting in dimension is desired or when colorists prefer to apply color using a bowl and brush.. So, we have options.

Colors range from warm and cool pale blondes, a selection of coppers, copper reds and reds, and a range of warm, neutral and cool brunettes. The shades are intermixable, and

a "clear'. 0/00 shade is available. Color can be applied to dry or to wet hair. Processing

is at room temperature or with heat. Heat create longer lasting and more intense tone.. but

I find that processing at room temperature also works very well.
